Jan 2, 2010 - CHARLIE TO DIRECT LEE MERIWETHER IN A STAGED READING OF "GRANDMA GOOD" BY ARDEN LEWIS - One Night Only: January 14, 2010 - Part of Theatre West's New Works Play Reading Festival.
Dec 1, 2009 - CHARLIE NOMINATED FOR AN ADA AWARD (FROM THE VALLETY THEATRE LEAGUE) AS BEST DIRECTOR FOR "WAITING IN THE WINGS" - Other "Wings" nominations include Best Ensemble, Best Set, Best Lights and Best Sound. Nov 2009 - CHARLIE TO DIRECT BEAU BRIDGES AND EMILY BRIDGES IN "ACTING: THE FIRST SIX LESSONS" - Opening April 9th, 2010 at Theatre West, Los Angeles.
Nov 2009 - CHARLIE TO PRODUCE "THE SOCIALIZATION OF RUTHIE SHAPIRO" - Opening June 4, 2010 at Theatre West.
Oct 2009 - OVATION AWARD NOMINATION FOR BETTY GARRETT IN "WAITING IN THE WINGS", DIRECTED BY CHARLIE MOUNT - Award Ceremony to be held January 11th at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center. "Wings" was also just honored by Grigware Talks Theatre as one of the "Best in LA Theatre 2008". Mr. Grigware also named Betty Garrett in his Best Performances section, and gave "Wings" (along with The Road's production of "The Friendly Hour") the Best Ensemble honor.
"GASLIGHT", PRODUCED AND DIRECTED BY CHARLIE MOUNT, CLOSES SUCCESSFULL RUN - Reviews were fantastic for this recent five week run at Theatre West.
